The Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame is currently supported by 35 Voting Member Organizations. These organizations support our mission of celebrating and advancing Wisconsin’s conservation legacy by providing an annual financial contribution. Each Voting Member Organization is invited to appoint a representative who will cast the organization’s vote for who will be Inducted into the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame. This month we highlight the Voting Member Organization: the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA).
The MREA promotes renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration. Together with partners around the Midwest, they work to expand renewable energy adoption through innovative programs, renewable energy training, and educational events. The MREA hosts an outdoor event in Custer, Wisconsin focused on Clean Energy and Sustainable Living for All. The Energy Fair is our nation’s longest-running event of its kind and attracts over 11,500 attendees to learn about sustainability and clean energy, connect with others, and take action toward a sustainable future. The Energy Fair will be held June 24-26, 2022: www.theenergyfair.org.
