This year, Tim Eisele is retiring from his position on the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame Board of Governors after 22 years of service. We appreciate the thoughtful insight and recordkeeping he brought to the group. His historical perspective has been invaluable. His wealth of knowledge of Wisconsin conservation history and people is influenced by his work as a freelance outdoor writer. You can follow Tim’s work and enjoy his beautiful nature photography through his website. Tim and his wife, Linda, have been supporters and advocates for the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame from its early days. We are grateful for Tim’s many years of dedication to the WCHF!
Also leaving her role as Governor this year is Christine Thomas. Christine has been part of the WCHF since it began, supporting the creation of the Conservation History Museum, nominating many Inductees and speaking at multiple Induction Ceremonies. Christine was Inducted into the WCHF in 2017 for her work in promoting the cause of conservation in Wisconsin and the nation through her contributions to higher education, research, natural resource policy, and the advancement of citizen participation in Wisconsin’s rich conservation heritage. Christine served on the Board of Governors for three years to fill a term vacated by a previous Governor. Christine is looking forward to being able to submit nominations and speak at future Induction Events.
