Have you been inspired by the conservation efforts of an unsung hero? Consider nominating them for Induction into the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame. Nominations for induction are accepted January 1 through May 31 annually.
Tips for success
- Work with a partner or team to develop the Nomination Application. This will lighten the workload and enhance the submission.
- Be mindful of word/page limits in the Application.
- Submit your Application at least one month prior to the deadline. This gives time for the WCHF to check the completeness of your packet and give feedback about missing pieces that would otherwise prevent your nomination from moving forward this year.
- Be patient. There is a pool of existing nominations that are reconsidered each year.
