Inductee Selection Meeting Happens in August

In late July, the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame Board of Governors met to review the new and existing nominations in the pool.  After discussion and deliberation, the Governors will forward five nominees to the WCHF Board of Directors and 33 Voting Member Organizations for consideration of WCHF Induction next year. Each Voting Member Organization selects a Representative to vote on behalf of the Organization. The voting entities have 30 days to review the nomination applications. In late August, they meet and choose the 2024 Inductee(s). Between one and three people will be selected for Induction per the Board of Directors and WCHF bylaws. The selection is based on the Standards and Criteria for Induction set by the Board of Directors. Once the Inductee decision has been finalized it is kept in confidence until the WCHF President notifies the Inductee(s) (if living) and the nominators. An announcement of the 2024 Inductee(s) will be made in the fall.
